Historical halls

The tour includes the oldest (western) chateau wing, decorated with ceiling frescos painted by Italian painter Andreas Lanzani and a part of the southern wing. Visitors will visit the Hall of the Ancestors (former dining room of Kaunitz family with the view on the “Napoleon’s balcony”), Historical hall (where the peace treaty after the Battle of Three Emperors was signed) and the chateau chapel.

Historical lounges

The tour shows to visitor mostly smaller rooms which are equipped and decorated in the styles ranging from Renaissance to Empire. Presented are also hunting-army lounge, library and theatre hall. Visitors will also learn something about every concerned historic period, what defines them, what were the habits and fashion of the nobles.

This tour is not available at the weekends in June and September and during the summer vacation in July and August.

In selected dates or for organized groups on request, the Slavkov Chateau offers a number of other special tours. Among the most popular there are costumed tours with stories or access to unusual places such as depository or the attic.
